also, briefly, known as Johnny Canuck and the Guardians of the North. A project initiated by a friend of Moonstone Books editor and publisher Joe Gentile who called up Ty and asked him if he’d be interested in writing a book with the Canadian Whites. Ty leapt at the chance…and asked if he could make some suggestions for the art team. I actually saw one (spectacularly snide) review which commented on the silliness (to them) of a book about Canadian superheroes being done by an American publisher–they didn’t notice that the art team is completely 100% Canuck.
Originally intended to be a one-off, the editor was so thrilled by the samples from David J. Cutler, that he decided on a three-issue mini instead.
